Where does Ziptastic's data come from?: A Geonames.org backbone, layered with authoritative national sources — ONS (UK), G-NAF (Australia), BAN (France), BAG/PDOK (Netherlands), LINZ (New Zealand), and HUD ZIP→CBSA crosswalk (US metro areas). We add more all the time.
How many requests can I make on the free tier?: The keyless v2 endpoint allows 100 requests every 24 hours. Paid plans raise the cap substantially.
How often is the postal code database updated?: Free version updates twice a year; paid versions update monthly.
Can my AI agent use Ziptastic directly?: Yes — that's a first-class use case. Point any MCP client at our MCP server, or let your agent read /openapi.json and call the REST API. All traffic is metered through the same billed key.
